Job summary

A leading animal health company is seeking a Technical Manager (Companion Animals) to lead technical functions across Africa. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and 3–5 years of relevant experience. Responsibilities include providing veterinary expertise, managing relationships, and supporting marketing initiatives. Extensive travel in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technical experience within the animal health or pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience supporting the development of technical marketing materials is advantageous.
• Experience working within African markets, preferably across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary technical expertise and clinical support.
• Serve as the technical lead for product launches and training initiatives.
• Build and manage strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with global standards and local regulations.
• Collaborate with various internal teams to achieve business goals.
• Develop and deliver training modules and technical presentations.
