Job summary

Lactalis South Africa in Stellenbosch seeks a Regional Technical Project Manager to oversee capex projects from inception to completion and to control costs and report on capex financials. You will drive strategy, lead engineers, and engage with clients and suppliers to ensure projects meet timelines and standards.

The role requires engineering with PMBOK experience, strong negotiation and financial management skills, and a track record in FMCG project delivery.

Qualifications

Engineering degree, preferably Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical.
Postgraduate qualification in business or project management is advantageous.
10 years FMCG experience with strong project management background.
PMP certification is an added advantage and PMBOK experience.

Responsibilities

Capex Strategy Planning: drive budgeting, resource allocation and design improvements.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement: build relationships and manage stakeholders.
Technical and Project Leadership: oversee delivery, ensure quality and compliance.
Financial Management: manage project budgets, costing and profitability analysis.
People Management: lead engineers and service providers, conduct performance reviews.
