Our client in the Forestry and Agricultrural Equipment / Services industry is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Executive to join their team in Nelspruit.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Is responsible for the sale and promotion of company products and services in the designated region (inclusive of Cross Border).
- Improve company market position and achieve financial growth.
- Assist in defining strategic sales & promotional goals for the region.
- To prospect and actively seek out new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising, social media and other means of generating interest from potential clients.
- Identifying business opportunities, negotiations and closing business deals whilst maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions within the region.
- Work with the service, marketing, parts departments along with management, to increase sales opportunities for the company.
- Help manage existing clients and ensure they are satisfied and positive.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Set up meetings with potential clients and take heed to their requests and concerns.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences.
- Negotiate / close deals and handle complaints and / or objections.
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
- Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role (2 years minimum).
- Proficiency in English & Afrikaans.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Hands‑on experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
- Ability to manage the sales funnel work opportunities through the advancing stages.
- Fast learner and passion for sales.
- Knowledge of Forestry & Biomass industries is a plus.
- Self‑motivated with a results‑driven approach.
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
- High school degree or higher.
