REGIONAL SALES EXECUTIVE
Location: Nelspruit & Surrounding Areas (including Cross-Border Regions)
Industry: Heavy Equipment / Industrial Sales

Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Regional Sales Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of high-quality industrial equipment and related services, driving growth within the assigned region.

This role calls for a results-oriented, self-motivated professional with a strong ability to identify opportunities, build lasting client relationships, and close deals effectively. You’ll be working closely with internal teams in service, parts, and marketing to maximise sales potential and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and business development initiatives within the assigned region (including cross-border territories).
  • Identify new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, advertising, and social media.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential growth areas.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
  • Participate in exhibitions and trade shows to promote products and services.
  • Negotiate and close deals while addressing customer concerns and objections.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure client satisfaction and support post-sale needs.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in a Sales Executive or similar role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM software advantageous.
  • A proactive, target-driven attitude and passion for sales.
  • Knowledge of the Forestry or Biomass industries will be an added advantage.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout the region.
