About the Role

Our client, a prestigious fashion retailer, is actively seeking a creative and detail-oriented Regional Retail Visual Merchandiser to join their vibrant team based in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for aesthetics, a deep understanding of retail display principles, and the ability to inspire store teams to execute visual merchandising directives flawlessly. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement visually appealing store layouts and product displays to maximize customer engagement and sales.

• Develop and maintain visual merchandising guidelines and standards for all stores within the region.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in visual merchandising within the retail sector, preferably in fashion or apparel.
• A strong portfolio showcasing creative retail display concepts and execution.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial arrangement.
• Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively train and influence store teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
• A relevant qualification in Design, Fashion, or Visual Arts is advantageous.
• Experience working in the Cape Town retail market is highly desirable.
• Must be willing to travel regularly across the Western Cape region and occasionally to other areas.
