Qualifications

Main Purpose of Job

To lead, optimise, and standardise pharmacy operations across the division, ensuring regulatory compliance, performance efficiency, and clinical quality.

Key Responsibility Areas

Pharmacy Governance : Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards to ensure regulatory compliance and quality.

Operations Optimisation : Implement and drive the pharmacy operational strategies that improve efficiency, optimise inventory management to reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.

Pharmacy Advisory & Management : Provide clinical and operational advisory support to internal pharmacy teams and senior stakeholders.

Retail Practice Optimisation : Ensure excellence in patient-facing pharmacy services through process refinement and team development.

Contract Compliance Management : Manage and monitor pharmacy-related vendor contracts to ensure adherence and optimal outcomes.

Pharmacy Reporting & Analysis : Generate and analyse pharmacy data reports to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.

Standardisation, Control & Advisory : Drive consistency in pharmacy practices across the region, incorporating best practices.

System Management : Oversee pharmacy system use, upgrades, and staff training to ensure operational integrity.

Required Education

Essential Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)

Desired Education: Master's in Pharmacy, Public Health, or Business Administration

Certification in Lean Six Sigma or project management

Required Experience

Essential Minimum Experience: Minimum 7 years' experience in pharmacy practice, with at least 3 in an operational leadership role.

Demonstrated success in managing multi-site pharmacy operations

Experience with pharmacy systems and reporting tools

Desired Experience: Experience in change management and contract / vendor management and materials management
