Job summary

CHEP South Africa (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Regional Operations Leader to drive safe, efficient and cost-effective performance across multiple plants. You will lead regional operations, develop high-performing teams, and ensure achievement of business, financial, and strategic objectives.

You will oversee budgets, drive continuous improvement, and manage cross-functional teams to meet customer expectations and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• BSc/BTech or equivalent in Engineering/Production/Operations/Supply Chain.
• Minimum 5 years at senior management level leading teams.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen; experience in manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead regional operations to deliver safe, efficient, cost‑effective, customer‑focused performance across multiple plants.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence to meet KPIs and budgets.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to plant management teams; develop high‑performing teams.
• Oversee budget, cost control, asset utilization, and capital projects within the region.
• Foster constructive industrial relations and effective stakeholder management.
