Regional Marketing and Communications Manager, Cape Town, R60k + benefits
Responsibilities
  • Drive the marketing planning and top line budget processes in the region.
  • Implement the relevant brand standards in the region.
  • Oversee marketing and communication campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms to ensure a strong and consistent brand message and to expand public awareness, drive engagement and amplify the brands in each local market.
  • Manage third party agencies to execute regional plan.
  • Ensure that the budget relating to each project is optimised and respected.
  • Build strong relationships with luxury brands, influencers, and media to enhance brand visibility and reach.
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Director to inform segmentation.
  • Partner closely with colleagues throughout the organisation to ensure excellent execution of marketing and communication campaigns.
  • Support the hotels in recruiting and developing marketing and communication teams.
  • Share best practice in the region and champion local initiatives.
  • Support development into the region by conducting analysis/market studies for new hotels, assisting the development team.
  • Maintain good rapport with owners.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of hotel level and regional marketing and communication campaigns and report results to senior management.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary education at Degree Level in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or Tourism from a recognised institution or equivalent qualifications.
  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience in Marketing/Communication and preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • A minimum of 2 years of working experience in a similar position and/or managerial position with brands in the hospitality industry.
