A leading recruitment agency in South Africa is seeking a Regional Marketing & Communications Lead. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in marketing, with strong leadership skills and expertise in digital marketing. A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required, along with exceptional communication skills.
As Regional Marketing & Communications Lead, you will elevate the Hospitality’s brand and hotel portfolio across your region, ensuring all initiatives align with business goals. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead regional marketing strategy, leveraging consumer insights, market trends, and stakeholder relationships to enhance brand visibility, reputation, and growth.
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute regional marketing and communications strategies aligned with business objectives.
Brand Management: Maintain brand consistency and compliance across all properties and platforms.
Campaign Oversight: Lead integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, and social) to drive awareness, engagement, and revenue.
Market Intelligence: Analyse consumer trends, competitors, and performance metrics to inform decision‑making.
Budget & Agency Management: Oversee regional budgets and third‑party agencies to ensure cost‑effective delivery.
Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Revenue, and Operations teams to ensure alignment and optimise results.
Media & Partnerships: Build strong relationships with media, influencers, and brand partners to amplify visibility.
Team Development: Support hotels in recruiting, training, and mentoring marketing and communication talent.
Performance Reporting: Track and report campaign results, share best practices, and support regional development initiatives.
Degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, or Tourism (or equivalent).
Minimum 5 years’ marketing/communications experience, preferably in hospitality; at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Proven expertise in multi‑brand strategy, digital marketing, and media relations.
Passionate, creative, and strategic with a strong eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Proactive, organised, and adaptable, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean certificate of character required.
