Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Regional Maintenance Support to ensure clubs meet brand, facility and maintenance expectations. You will assist Planet Fitness in achieving its goal of being the preferred health club destination by carrying out work, training, inspections and reporting.

Deadlines must be met and overtime could be required. Responsibilities include facility maintenance turnaround time, equipment maintenance, audits, admin duties like keeping documents, daily/weekly checklists,

Responsibilities

• Facility maintenance including painting, patching, door repairs, plumbing, HVAC services and pool maintenance.
• Equipment maintenance tasks such as part replacement, calibration, cleanliness, and daily/weekly checks.
• Maintain and improve brand and maintenance audit scores; report findings.
• Complete and sign job cards with parts and material orders for each service call.
• Update club facility, pool and plant dashboards after each club visit.

Planet is looking for a Regional Maintenance Support that will ensure that clubs meet brand, facility and maintenance expectations as set by the company and to assist Planet fitness in reaching its goal of being the preferred health club destination it also include but not limited to carrying out of work, training, inspections, and reportingDeadlines must be met at all times and as such overtime could be required.

Operations:

• Facility Maintenance turnaround time
• Equipment repair downtime
• Brand and Maintenance audit scores
  • Facilities:
    • Painting, patching, fixing doors & door handles, unblocking of drains, silicone and finishing work, Flooring repairs (vinyl, carpet, and tiling), general maintenance e.g., grouting, minor plumbing, HVAC services, HVAC inspections and fault finding etc., Pool maintenance, minor in-house projects set out by NOPS/NFMM
  • Equipment Maintenance:
    • Part replacement, equipment calibration, equipment quality control, equipment cleanliness, Ensure Club tech is up to date with daily and weekly services and checks, ensure club tech admin is up to date and not fraudulent, General maintenance

Administration:

• Stay up to date with all maintenance related matters and communicate effectively
  • Keep all documents filed:
    • Daily fussy walk at relevant club
    • Check equipment Daily \ Weekly Checklist
    • Check Weekly Facility checklist
    • Check weekly service and repair reports
    • Check weekly tool count
    • Daily generator inspections
    • Monthly facility and maintenance assessment with Club/Ops manager
    • Ensure job card is completed and signed with parts and material order documented
    • Update club Facility, pool and plant dashboard at the end of each club visit
    • Update club equipment dashboard at the end of each club visit

  • Training
  • Deliver training on equipment as determined by weak point on monthly equipment maintenance audit. Develop club tech and include facility or potential future technician
  • Identify club weak point for training as per quarterly national audit. Bring region audit scores to a stable and acceptable score increasing brand quarter on quarter

Financial:

• Asset Management:
  • Company vehicle and content
  • Responsible for safe keeping of the company vehicle
  • Safe keeping of spares and stock within the company vehicle
  • Ensure vehicle faults and services are reported
  • All purchase slips to be processed and claims submitted as per the company petty cash policy
