About the Role

In this dynamic position, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping after-sales logistics performance across multiple African markets.

You'll coordinate cross-border operations, manage import/export documentation, monitor inventory flow, and drive cost-effective, compliant supply chain practices from factory to dealer.

Your work will ensure that parts, people, and processes align seamlessly to deliver best-in-class service to the company's SSA partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, monitor, and optimise after-sales logistics processes across SSA markets.
  • Coordinate international shipping, customs, and bonded stock compliance.
  • Oversee importer back orders, inventory demand, and freight partner performance.
  • Support packaging, warehouse scheduling, and inbound delivery planning.
  • Ensure full compliance with regional trade and customs regulations.
  • Conduct basket pricing studies and contribute to cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Lead or support training initiatives for new model launches and supply chain efficiency.
Conduct process audits and maintain ISO
  • / VDA 6.1 conformance.
About You

Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Quality Management, or Engineering.

Minimum 3 years' experience in the automotive logistics sector.

Strong understanding of manufacturing lead times, quality systems, and warehouse operations.

Hands‑on experience with import/export logistics, trade compliance, and cross‑border coordination.

Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word).

Willingness to travel across SSA markets.

Highly Advantageous
  • Knowledge of Volkswagen or other OEM logistics systems (EPIS, ETKA, ET, EWM).
  • Strong understanding of HS codes, tariff optimisation, and SSA trade compliance.
