Job summary

DP World in Africa Region seeks a Regional Key Account Manager responsible for growing revenue and retaining strategic customers in the Industrials & Chemicals sector. You will lead account strategies, unlock cross‑capability opportunities, and coordinate with regional and global teams to deliver differentiated value.

With 8+ years in transport/logistics, you will manage key accounts, negotiate agreements, and drive end‑to‑end solutions across DP World’s footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Transport, Logistics or related field.
• 8+ years’ experience in transport, logistics, freight forwarding or similar B2B services managing regional/global accounts.
• Experience in strategic account management, business development or sales with focus on growth and retention.
• Experience working across functions to develop customer solutions and deliver commercial outcomes.
• Experience in the Industrials & Chemicals industry and knowledge of commercial contracts, tenders, renewals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies to drive profitable revenue growth, retention and expansion with assigned strategic customers in Industrials & Chemicals.
• Collaborate with customers and DP World teams to identify fit-for-purpose solutions addressing needs and delivering sustainable value.
• Grow DP World capabilities, services, and geographic coverage for each customer with approved targets.
• Capture customer forecasts, volume changes, and demand to support planning.
• Maintain governance and communication plans; coordinate strategic reviews and actions with stakeholders.
• Lead renewal planning and participate in relevant tenders and RFQs; manage commercial relationships.
