Qualifications

• Valid Code 14 driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a freight or truck driver.
• Thorough knowledge of road networks in Polokwane and surrounding areas.
• Ability to operate large commercial vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Transport commercial freight between locations within Limpopo province.
• Plan optimal routes considering traffic, delivery windows, and vehicle capacity.
• Ensure all cargo is properly secured and handled with care during loading and unloading.
• Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery confirmation records.
• Conduct mandatory pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report issues.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery progress.
