Our client, a prominent player in the retail space, is seeking a strategic and detail‑oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial operations across multiple stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial insight and reporting to the Regional Manager
  • Lead budgeting, variance analysis, and KPI tracking
  • Oversee reconciliations, journals, and receipts
  • Ensure compliance with audit standards and statutory regulations
  • Manage stock take planning, asset verification, and CAPEX alignment
  • Drive financial process improvements and digitisation
  • Coach and mentor finance / admin staff and deliver training to non‑finance personnel
  • Collaborate with procurement and IT for system and supplier enhancements
  • Act as AFIS agent and maintain professional relationships across departments
Required Expertise
  • BCom degree (essential); further studies advantageous
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Experience with Sage X3, Sage People, and SharePoint
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT rules, and BCEA
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, income statements, GL, cashbook, and reconciliations
  • Experience in senior and junior admin functions (stock takes, invoicing, debtor follow‑ups, etc.)
