Job summary

FM Staff is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician specializing in Ammonia for roles in Atlantis, near Cape Town. The ideal candidate has a trade test certificate in Refrigeration Mechanic and at least 2 years of post-qualification ammonia refrigeration work.

Candidates should be prepared to commute daily to Atlantis, reside in the Cape Town to Saldanha Bay region, and be available for overtime. South African citizens with a valid driver's license are preferred.

REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN - AMMONIA - ATLANTIS, CAPE TOWN

We're looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician, with specific experience in Ammonia in a industrial/fishing/flow-ice/blast freezing setting.

Minimum Requirements

• A trade test certificate Refrigeration Mechanic (B8 will be beneficial) or a related Refrigeration qualification, as long as Ammonia is included.
• At least 2 years post qualification working experience in Ammonia Refrigeration Technician work.
• Preferably already in, or in the immediate surrounds of the Atlantis area, or reside in the general Cape Town to Saldanha Bay region with the ability to commute daily to and from Atlantis, and work overtime if needed.
• We are open to individuals who would like to relocate, however relocation will be on own cost.
• Immediately available applicants might get priority, but this is not only available for immediately available applicants.
• South African Citizens only.
• Preferably have a valid and current drivers license.
• Preferably have your own vehicle for daily commute to and from work.
• No criminal record - this will be verified.
