We are looking for a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to support industrial refrigeration systems in the Netherlands.
What we are looking for:
- Completed studies in Refrigeration or similar technician education.
- Experience working on complex industrial refrigeration systems and industrial compressors.
- Knowledge and experience with electrical/mechanical systems related to refrigeration.
- Ability to carry out maintenance, modification, installation, inspection, and overhaul work as agreed with the customer.
- Experience drawing up maintenance reports and advising on inspections.
- Supporting the implementation of maintenance schedules.
- NQF Level 4 or equivalent education.
- Previous experience in a technical role such as breakdown service technician or maintenance technician in refrigeration.
- Preferred industry experience in dairy, fish, or food processing plants.
- Experience working with refrigerant gases such as F‑gas and ammonia.
- Age: under 28 for VISA purposes.
- Fluency in Afrikaans (to learn Dutch).
Responsibilities:
- Fault resolution, maintenance, and commissioning of industrial refrigeration systems to minimize downtime.
- Support diverse service projects and respond to breakdowns across various sectors such as agricultural, fish, and food processing.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in cooling and freezing installations.
- Attend to service and maintenance activities on large‑scale industrial cooling and freezing refrigeration systems.

HVAC Technician Service Technician (HVAC/Building Services/Utilities) – Netherlands – Eindhoven

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to service large residential and commercial building systems.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum NQF Level 4–5 qualification in mechanical and/or refrigeration technology.
- Completed Red Seal trade qualification.
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in large buildings such as malls, hospitals, or office buildings.
- Proven experience with cooling and heating systems for buildings, including boilers.
- Experience with water‑based HVAC systems (air and water systems, pumps, chillers, boilers, and water cooling/heating installations).
- Knowledge of f‑gases and compliance with safety regulations.
- Solid background in mechanical maintenance and building‑related installations.
- Additional technical training (e.g., HVAC, refrigeration, or boiler systems) is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to participate in standby/on‑call duties approximately once every 6–7 weeks (8 times per year).
- Valid South African driver’s licence.
- Good level of Afrikaans language is required.
- Age: under 28 for VISA purposes.
- Fluency in Afrikaans (to learn Dutch).
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve urgent faults on‑site for cooling, heating, and HVAC systems.
- Carry out repair work on boilers, pumps, chillers, heat pumps, and related mechanical installations.

Field Service Technician – Water Treatment (Strand, Western Cape)
We are looking for a Field Service Technician to maintain and repair water treatment plants across the Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and commission water treatment systems in line with engineering drawings, quality standards, and safety rules.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance, calibration, and parts replacement on pumps, filters, valves, instruments, and control panels.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and process faults, carry out repairs or escalations.
- Record all service actions, operational data, and risk findings in the digital reporting system on the same day.
- Provide clear operating instructions and hands‑on training to client personnel.
- Verify water quality results, system availability, and performance efficiency during each visit.
- Offer technical input on upgrades or service level agreements that improve plant reliability and cost of ownership.
- Adhere to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements; complete on‑site risk assessments before work starts.
- Keep the Field Service Manager informed of emerging risks, parts shortages, and customer concerns.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 12.
- Preferred: Trade Certificate at NQF 4.
- 3 or more years of field service or maintenance experience on industrial equipment; water‑treatment experience is preferred.
- Valid Code 8 or 10 driver licence and readiness to travel throughout Gauteng and neighbouring provinces.
- Proven record of completing maintenance work to specification, on time, and within safety rules.
Technical Competencies:
- Reading and interpreting Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, single‑line electrical diagrams, and process flow sheets.
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding with multimeters, pressure gauges, flowmeters, and vibration tools.
- Basic programmable logic controller and human‑machine interface interrogation for alarm tracing.
- Water quality sampling and on‑site analysis to SANS 241 standards.
- Use of field service management software for job scheduling and report generation.
- Safe isolation, lock‑out, and confined‑space entry.
- Proficient in chemical handling and dosing.
- In‑depth knowledge of water treatment technologies: media filters, membranes, and ancillary components such as pumps.
