Refinery Plant & Operations Manager - Meyerton

An independent Lubricant Producer and Waste Oil Re-refinery in Meyerton, Gauteng, is seeking an experienced and driven Plant Manager to lead operations at their Used Oil Re-refinery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of refinery operations, including production, compliance, maintenance, and team leadership to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality output.

Skills and requirements: Degree in Chemical, Mechanical or Process Engineering (preferential).

Minimum 10 years' experience in refinery or petrochemical operations.

Strong communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to create accountability and lead by example.

Use ERP tools (e.g. MRP, BOMs, Routing) for planning and reporting.

Implement digitalisation & automation initiatives, including SCADA & PLC systems for refining plant.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office & ERP systems.

Familiarity with ISO standards.
