Overview

Our client is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Reefer Monitoring Agent to ensure the effective monitoring and handling of temperature-controlled containers. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding the integrity of temperature-sensitive cargo within the port or designated depots.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor temperature levels of reefer containers to ensure compliance with cargo requirements.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, malfunctions, and power supply issues.
  • Maintain real-time communication with operations teams regarding reefer container status.
  • Report deviations, equipment failures, or handling issues timeously for corrective action.
  • Keep accurate records of container status, temperature readings, and maintenance interventions.
  • Serve as first-line support in addressing issues such as refrigeration failures, alarms, or power outages.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify fluctuations or irregularities.
  • Quick response capabilities and effective issue escalation.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in high-traffic operational environments.

  • Comfortable working in variable weather conditions and under shift-based schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • 2–3 years of experience in port operations, logistics, or reefer container management preferred.
  • Familiarity with temperature-sensitive cargo and basic refrigeration systems is an advantage.
