Core responsibilities
Client and candidate management

Identify and develop business relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Build and maintain a database of potential candidates.
  • Advise clients on hiring needs and strategies.
Candidate sourcing and screening

Write and place job advertisements in various media.

  • Source suitable candidates through networking, referrals, and headhunting.
  • Screen resumes and cover letters, and conduct initial interviews to assess qualifications.
Interview and selection process

Coordinate and manage interviews between candidates and clients.

  • Provide clients with a shortlist of the most qualified candidates.
  • Perform background checks as needed.
Negotiation and closing

Negotiate salary and benefits between the client and the candidate.

  • Finalize the hiring arrangements and manage the offer stage.
Advising and reporting

Provide CV, interview, and general career advice to candidates.

  • Stay updated on market trends to better advise clients.
  • Maintain records of candidates and clients.
Requirements
  • Matric / Grade 12
  • A diploma in human resources, business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and knowledge of sourcing techniques are advantageous.
