Job summary

A leading HR consultancy seeks a Recruitment Manager to oversee end-to-end recruitment processes across various industries in Cape Town. Key responsibilities include client relationship management, talent sourcing, and onboarding support. Candidates should have at least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Petrochemical and Oil & Gas industries. Competitive skills in Google and Microsoft Suites are essential. This position offers a flexible remote working setup with client visits as needed.

Summary

This role will manage Recruitment from end-to-end for numerous positions across various industries. You will be the 2nd addition to our recruitment portfolio within our HR consultancy. You will be responsible for all things talent and recruitment - from administration to client relationship management. You will need to be comfortable working independently and you will form a key part to building the Recruitment Portfolio of our business.

Reporting To: Managing Director

Location: Cape Town

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Work Set-up: Remote Working (ad hoc visits to clients around Cape Town)

Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
  • Build & maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their recruitment needs, their existing teams, etc.
  • Collaborate with clients to define job specification, qualifications, and competencies.
  • Collaborate with clients in selection decisions that align with the company values and culture.
  • Assist with building / guiding the Employer Brand and Talent Pipelines for multiple clients.
  • Be a dependable contact point for all clients regarding recruitment.
Recruitment Process Management
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process, including :
  • Research on suitable recruitment platforms per position,
  • Market research for job specification and salary brackets,
  • Drafting of job specifications,
  • Job postings on platforms,
  • Candidate sourcing strategies outside of traditional attraction methods,
  • Screening of candidates (emails, calls, virtual, etc),
  • Interview coordination,
  • Offer preparation and negotiations, regretting of candidates,
  • Provide regular status updates to clients on recruitment progress and market insights.
  • Ensure the candidate experience is managed to a high standard.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from Hiring to Onboarding with support from the HR Generalist team leading the clients Onboarding process.

  • Leverage industry knowledge to identify hiring and placement trends, potential talent pools, etc.
  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and talent landscape.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to expand professional connections.
Systems / Platforms
  • Google Suite & Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Workable (or other ATS's)
  • LinkedIn, Indeed and other sourcing platforms
  • Canva, Toggl, Asana & ClickUp
Requirements
  • A passion for Recruitment / Talent Sourcing and Placement
  • At least 4 years experience in a similar role
  • Qualification in Human Resources is advantageous
  • Experience in recruiting for the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas industry is advantageous.
  • Superb understanding of the holistic recruitment process, talent acquisition strategies, and HR / Recruitment best practices.
  • Based in Cape Town to serve CT-based clients.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence.
