About the role

Due to continued expansion this practice is now looking for a highly competent Receptionist to work alongside the Senior Receptionist and ensure clients receive an exceptional experience every single time.

You may come from a medical or veterinary reception background or be someone in a reception role who is passionate about people and their fur family members.

This team has an inclusive and respectful environment where teamwork, enjoyment, and mutual support are valued. Having transitioned to a state-of-the-art purpose-built facility, they are currently seeking a highly talented Senior Receptionist to join their team and contribute to their success.

You will provide invaluable support to a small but busy practice that is deeply committed to delivering exceptional medical care and services to their valued clients and their beloved pets.

You will be provided rosters in advance, so you maintain a good work life balance.

Hours will be Monday to Friday or if you prefer you can work 1 in four Saturdays and take a weekday off.

To ensure fairness rosters are 3 morning shifts and 2 afternoon shifts in week 1 and 2 morning shifts and 3 afternoon shifts in week 2.

Morning shifts start at 7.45am and finish at 3.45pm – so you can still enjoy life outside of work.

Afternoon shifts start at 11.00am and finish at 7.00pm – so you can sleep in or enjoy an early morning gym session.

You will be supported by 5 dedicated vets and 10 support staff.

You will be provided a uniform.

Hourly rate is generous and well above award, experience dependant.

About you

You must have reception experience (veterinary or medical will be highly regarded).

You must have some experience and be familiar with practice management software.

You are someone who is highly organised and stays one step ahead to ensure the day runs smoothly.

You are a confident communicator, and pride yourself on your natural bubbly nature, quickly building trust with clients and their beloved pets.

Physical ability to stand for long periods.
