Job Overview

Our client, based in Illovo, is seeking a well-presented and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors and callers. This role is ideal for a candidate with little to no experience who is eager to learn, although 2–3 years' experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the front desk and welcoming visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answering and directing incoming calls promptly and efficiently
  • Handling general administrative and clerical duties
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Maintaining a neat and organized reception area
  • Assisting with ad hoc administrative tasks as required
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric certificate (essential)
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans (spoken and written)
  • Well-spoken, professional, and presentable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer literacy (email, MS Office)
  • No prior experience required; 2–3 years' receptionist or administrative experience will be advantageous
Additional Requirements
  • Must ideally reside close to the Sandton / Illovo area
  • Reliable, punctual, and well-organized
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Remuneration

R12 – R13 per month, depending on experience and suitability
