Job summary

An established industry player in the fresh produce market is seeking a diligent Receiving Clerk to ensure accurate stock reconciliation and assist with the smooth operation of the receiving department. In this role, you will leverage your FMCG experience to manage stock discrepancies and maintain the integrity of inventory. You will also be responsible for driving moving equipment such as forklifts, making a valid license essential. Position Overview

1. To use the corresponding Purchase Order for the correct invoice and reconcile that the stock is correct and that there are no discrepancies.
2. If discrepancies are found, the Receiving Clerk will communicate with the corresponding buyer if they are allowed to take the stock or reject it.
3. When not busy, the Receiving Clerk will assist with housekeeping of the receiving department and getting returns ready for the next week of supplies.
4. We use Arch Mobile Scanners to scan stock and ensure that stock received has the correct barcodes and is the correct stock ordered as well.
5. Ensure that returns for relevant suppliers get returned in a timely manner and with the correct quantities.
6. You will be required to drive various moving equipment such as a BT and/or Forklift; therefore, having a BT and/or Forklift license is preferred. Please include a copy of the license/s in your CV.

Additional Requirements

1. FMCG and Fresh Produce experience and/or training in receiving duties of such goods.
2. No drug use.
3. Clear criminal record.
4. Matric NSC Pass.
