Placements24 is seeking a Real Estate Investment Analyst to join a fully remote team focused on the Durban market. You will perform in-depth financial modeling, market research and due diligence to support investment decisions and portfolio growth.

The ideal candidate has a quantitative background and at least 3 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, with strong Excel skills and knowledge of valuation methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of real estate investment analysis or corporate finance experience.
• Strong Excel proficiency for financial modeling; Argus Enterprise is a plus.
• Solid understanding of real estate markets, valuation methods and investment principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed financial analysis including cash flow projections, DCF, and return analysis for real estate investments.
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies for development and acquisition opportunities in Durban.
• Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for senior management and committees.
• Assist in due diligence for acquisitions, reviewing property data, leases and financial statements.
• Monitor performance of existing investments and identify value-enhancement opportunities.

About the Role
