Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a creative Frontend Developer with React expertise to join our Mossel Bay team. You will translate requirements and designs into intuitive, engaging web interfaces and collaborate with backend, UI/UX, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities include building responsive UIs, integrating with APIs, and ensuring performance and cross-browser compatibility. A strong eye for detail and modern frontend practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Web Development.
• Minimum 3 years of frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Demonstrated experience with React and its ecosystem (Redux, Context API).
• Familiarity with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel) and version control (Git).
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive frontends using React and related libraries.
• Translate UI/UX designs into functional, pixel-perfect components.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend with APIs.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
