Indsafri in Sandton is seeking a Junior Frontend Developer (React) to join a hybrid technology team. You will contribute to a real-time pricing platform, build responsive web components, and work with experienced engineers to deliver features from design to deployment.

The role focuses on learning modern tooling, cloud platforms (AWS), APIs, and data-intensive applications, with an emphasis on clean code, tests, and collaborative Agile ceremonies.

Formación

• 2+ years of software development experience
• Degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
• Understanding of OOP, testing, and version control

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the development of the real-time pricing platform
• Build and maintain UI components across the application stack

What we’re looking for

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS through academic, personal, or professional projects
• Familiarity with databases, APIs, and modern software development tools
• Interest in financial markets, trading systems, or data-intensive applications
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, or container technologies such as Docker
• Use of AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, or learning
• A minimum of 2 years of software development experience
• A degree in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience)
• Understanding of software development fundamentals including object-oriented programming, testing, and version control
• Interest in distributed systems, data processing, and high-performance applications
