Group D: Perform manual and technical tasks related to track maintenance, signaling, loading/unloading, and other essential railway operations.
Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP): Assist the Loco Pilot in operating locomotives safely and efficiently while adhering to all operational protocols and safety standards.
Technician: Carry out repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting of railway machinery, electrical systems, and infrastructure equipment to minimize downtime and enhance safety.
Monitor and report any irregularities or faults in railway systems promptly.
Follow strict safety guidelines and standard operating procedures at all times.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and operational activities.
Educational qualification as prescribed by the Railway Recruitment Board for Group D, ALP, and Technician posts (typically 10th/12th pass or ITI/Diploma depending on the position).
Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems for technical roles.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Good physical fitness and stamina, especially for Group D roles involving manual labor.
Good communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members.
Willingness to work in shifts, including night and weekend shifts, as required by railway operations.
Freshers are encouraged to apply as on-the-job training will be provided.
Prior experience in railway operations or maintenance is advantageous but not mandatory.
