Job description
Introduction

A 40 hour per week position is available for a Radiographer in the Mooinooi area, North-West. The successful candidate will render a radiography service at Life Health Solutions, report to the Unit Manager, and be responsible for providing a high quality, effective and efficient radiography service that meets and exceeds the client’s expectations and requirements.

Critical Outputs
  • Plan, coordinate, implement and conduct radiography services at the on‑site clinic.
  • Refer employees with abnormalities, through the on‑site Nursing Practitioners, to the on‑site OMP.
  • Ensure effective and efficient administration on cloud‑based systems.
  • Ensure the required checklists, calibration, maintenance, quality control and registration of the unit are performed.
  • Ensure registration of the unit and responsible person with SAHPRA is up to date.
  • Ensure CPD points are up to date – monthly submission to Unit Manager.
  • Ensure accurate filing and archiving.
  • Compile and submit monthly feedback reports and statistics to the Unit Manager.
  • Report on any trends identified.
  • Arrange reports done by a Radiologist, when requested by the OMP.
  • Work within a pre‑determined budget.
  • Willing and able to work in a team.
  • Participate in quality assurance where required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Radiography.
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience.
  • Mining experience.
  • Registered with HPCSA.
  • Up to date CPD.
  • Good communication, interpersonal and people skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
