Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee content production for Career Indaba Radio’s flagship shows, including:
    • Breakfast Show – daily deep dives into employment trends, economic policies, and leadership
    • Career Bootcamp Show – practical career advice, upskilling strategies, and industry insights
    • Youth Plug – focus on graduate employment, entrepreneurship, and youth career development
    • SME Drive – business growth strategies, SME funding, and enterprise development discussions
    • World of Work Show – thought leadership on the future of work, digital disruption, and AI
  • Research, script, and coordinate interviews with high-profile guests, ensuring informative and engaging discussions.
  • Develop thought‑provoking topics that align with global and African labour market trends.
  • Oversee production schedules, content planning, and editorial direction to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Coordinate live and pre‑recorded shows, ensuring smooth execution, guest management, and audience engagement.
  • Drive audience engagement strategies through storytelling, social media integration, and interactive programming.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and editorial teams to align radio content with digital, print, and podcast platforms.
  • Monitor industry trends, economic shifts, and policy changes to keep Career Indaba Radio ahead of the curve.
