Qualifications

  • 6 to 10 years working experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate design documentation.
  • Prepare preliminary & detailed estimates.
  • Formulate bills of quantities & contract documentation.
  • Financial evaluation of tenders.
  • Administer cashflow forecasts, cost reports, variation orders, valuations, contractual claims.
  • Prepare & negotiate final accounts.
  • Attend meetings.
  • Formulate, review and analyse repair estimates.
  • Prepare viability studies, damage costings & determine value at risk.
  • Liaise and cooperate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Overview / Description

The position is for a Professional Quantity Surveyor at a multi-disciplinary consulting firm. The successful candidate will form part of the Quantity Surveying department and will have regular interaction and collaboration with the Architecture and Engineering departments.
