Job summary

A construction company is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to take responsibility for budget compiling, project valuations, and managing subcontractor accounts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying, a qualification in the field, and be proficient with software like CCS or Buildsmart. Strong English language skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role in Cape Town.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Compilation and monitoring of project budgetary allowances.
  • Preparation works for interim monthly valuations to client.
  • Manage sub‑contractor accounts.
  • Preparation works for final accounts.
  • Provide progress reports on contractors.

Location: Cape Town, Western Cape

Grade 12 with 3 - 5 years minimum working experience in Quantity Surveying.

Qualification in Quantity Surveying, computer literate (CCS or Buildsmart, WinQS or DimX, MS Excel & Outlook). Ability to read building plans, confidently work on B.O.Q., understand company functions and infrastructure. Well‑developed English language skills (speak, read and write).
