Job summary

Boardroom Appointments in Johannesburg seeks a quantitative analytics specialist to plan, build, optimise and implement innovative analytical methods, models and procedures that provide insights to address opportunities and business strategy with minimal guidance.

You will work across teams to reduce costs, improve service delivery, and refine statistical models and data analysis to inform strategic decisions while adhering to relevant processes and compliance.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Maths, Stats, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, Physics or Actuarial Science.
• Honours degree preferred.
• 3+ years experience in a data environment, of which 1–2 years ideally at a junior specialist level.

Responsibilities

• Plan, build, optimise and implement analytical methodologies, procedures and models to provide insights.
• Identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs.
• Collaborate across teams to enhance work delivery and innovation.
• Ensure compliance with legislative and audit requirements and relevant processes.
