Job description

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 Certificate, with Mathematics and Science as subjects
• Certificate in Quality Assurance
• Quality Assurance Diploma/ Engineering Diploma - preferable
• Yellow belt six sigma (preferably green belt)
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years in OEM manufacturing environment (Preferable Tier 1, or Chemistry Industry Tier N)
• Minimum of at least 1- 2 direct reports
• Good understanding of IATF 16949, Automotive core tools
• OEM Specific Requirements
• Good understanding of Statistical tools and indices
• Computer Literacy (Advanced Microsoft Office)
• Communication skills (both verbal and written)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that the product manufactured complies with the specification requirements that are established internally as well as those requirements that have been communicated by OEMs
• Effective reactions to out of control conditions, to ensure that nonconforming parts are segregated from standard production, coordinate with cross functional teams to ensure that the process is rectified immediately to operate at mean set points of control limits
• Effective product quality problem resolution by means of root cause analysis tools defined by the organisation
