Hire Resolve is partnering with a leading engineering consultancy on a high-impact energy storage project in South Africa. We’re looking for a Quality Officer to join a groundbreaking Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) initiative as it enters the construction phase.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a national infrastructure development effort working across three active project sites within close proximity to one another in the Northern Cape.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site quality inspections and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015
• Support and monitor the implementation of QMS across all project phases
• Maintain quality documentation and reporting systems
• Liaise with site teams, contractors and consultants to ensure quality objectives are met
• Identify and assist in resolving non‑conformances

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years on‑site experience in the construction industry
• Proven experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards
• Willingness to work across multiple construction sites
• Valid driver’s licence

Preferred Background

• Experience in large‑scale energy or infrastructure projects such as power stations
• Solar farms or battery storage facilities
• Mining or water utility infrastructure

Package & Remuneration

R420 000 – R740 000 per annum
