Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced Quality Manager in Kempton Park, Gauteng, to oversee quality management systems and drive continuous improvement. This role requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in steel fabrication and leadership skills in developing quality teams. Ideal candidates will possess a Boilermaker Trade Test or a degree/diploma in Metallurgy or Mechanical Engineering. Offering a highly competitive salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Quality Manager in steel or metal fabrication.
• Qualified in Level 2 Welding Inspector (SAIW) and Lead Auditor (ISO 9001/ISO 4501).
• Strong understanding of EN/ISO 3834.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001 certified HSQ systems.
• Lead internal, external, supplier, and subcontractor audits.
• Conduct regular quality inspections and risk assessments.
