Requirements
  • Qualification in Quality Management / Industrial Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in Quality Management or Quality Assurance aligned with ISO standards
  • 5-10 years of experience within a similar role within a sheet metal manufacturing / welding environment (non-negotiable)
  • Experience with ERP software (e.g., SAP) is an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes and characteristics
  • Ability to perform detailed inspections of coatings and painting applications (advantageous)
  • Advanced knowledge of welding inspections, welding qualifications and related NDE methods
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and standards
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • Proficiency in quality management software and tools
Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and maintaining quality control processes, conducting audits and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and service quality across the company.

The Quality Manager will work closely with senior management to uphold and advance the company's quality standards, with a strong focus on welding procedure qualification welder / welding qualifications, and inspection processes.

Establish, develop, implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.

Monitor and analyse quality performance metrics.

Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Track products through the manufacturing process to identify deviations from quality standards.

Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure compliance with specifications.

Investigate quality issues, determine root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Collaborate with the Management to integrate safety and quality processes.

Manage non-conformance reports and corrective action processes.

Perform and oversee both routine and non-routine quality inspections.

Prepare, maintain and control quality documentation, including quality plans, inspection checklists and product traceability records.

Train, mentor and support staff on quality standards, inspection techniques and company procedures.

Partner with other departments to ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process.
