Location: Phalaborwa - Limpopo.

Salary: Market related.

Qualifications:

• Degree/BTech Mining.
• Blasting Certificate for Opencast mining.
• Mine managers Certificate of Competence will be an advantage.
• Explosive/Blasting Engineering Course/Advantage.
• Post Graduate management Certificate /Advantage.
• Registered as Professional Engineer with ECSA /Advantage.

Experience:

• 7 Years plus experience in Open Pit /Cast mining environment with related experience in Drill ,Blast, Load and Haul Fleet management and Control systems.
• 3 Years middle management experience in an open cast mine.

Responsibilities:

• Management of Operations & strategy.
• Compliance to SHREQ Standards, coordinating of operational activities to ensure compliance to safety, Health ,Radiation, Environmental and Quality.
• Leading and Management of Human Resources: effective leadership and management of performance of subordinates.
• Recording Management of reporting and record keeping of sales information and preparation of reports.
• Budgeting and Management of Financial resources, planning and management and controlling of financial resources.
• Communication & Engagement of Stakeholders: Tasks directed at engaging customers &stakeholders (internal /external) as well as facilitating communication on organisational related matters.
