Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent; mechanical engineering diploma with a focus on boiler-making an advantage.
• Level 1 or 2 Welding and Fabrication Inspector qualification is essential.
• 3–5 years of experience in a fabrication workshop, 3 years as a quality inspector.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fabricated items in-process and at final stage.
• Identify, record nonconformances and generate NCRs.
• Review and approve quality control plans and technical procedures.
• Liaise continuously with third-party inspectors.
