Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Port Elizabeth is seeking an experienced Foreman for their Quality Department. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and quality management skills, a minimum of 2 years' supervisory experience, and a background in quality management. Minimum Requirements
Education & Training

Grade 12 or equivalent with core Mathematics

Certificate / Diploma in Quality Management or a related management field (essential)

Computer literate

Foundry industry experience advantageous

Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar supervisory or foreman role
Working knowledge of
  • ISO
  • IATF
  • SPC (Statistical Process Control)
  • Problem Solving methodologies
  • Auditing
Key Responsibilities

Maintain and administer the Quality Management System

Conduct product and process audits and compile accurate reports

Provide training and support to inspectors and operators

Implement and manage SPC and self-inspection systems

Oversee scrap, rework, and warranty claim reviews

Conduct performance appraisals and foster staff development

Allocate resources effectively to meet production goals

Promote and enforce Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) compliance

Build a culture of quality, integrity, and teamwork
