Job summary

Tetra Pak in Pinetown, South Africa seeks a Factory Quality Assurance professional to analyze process losses and drive actions to improve quality performance. You will own product quality tests, handle customer claims, and coordinate quality initiatives across the production line to achieve zero-defect goals.

The role requires a engineering degree and 3–5 years of QA experience, with familiarity of ISO9001/ISO14001/BRC/ISO22000/OHSAS18001 systems and SPC/TQM principles.

Qualifications

• Completed Engineering degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years QA or related experience; WCM skills and knowledge.
• Familiar with ISO9001/ISO14001/BRC/ISO22000/OHSAS18001; SPC, TQM a plus.
• Production process experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for factory quality assurance related work.
• Analyze losses in the Process and propose actions to improve quality performance.
• Product Quality Test: understand test methods and perform all tests.
• Customer Claim handling: own KPI/KAI indicators and drive analysis.
• Waste Management: own total waste KPI and drive continuous improvement.
• Base Material Management: own base material quality losses and drive zero impact on waste.
• Quality system management and participate in WCM pillar activities.
• Coordinate across production line processes to achieve quality targets and train operators.
