Job summary

A leading automotive manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to ensure product and process compliance with customer standards. The successful candidate will implement quality systems, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives. A National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ automotive or industrial experience.
• At least 2 years in quality control, assurance, or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions.
• Manage PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plan documentation.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor process capability and performance to meet quality targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
