This role exists to ensure that all products leaving the facility meet strict ISO 9001 quality standards. You will oversee quality systems, guide a small team, conduct audits, and drive corrective actions across the manufacturing floor. The role is both hands‑on and analytical, requiring someone who can interpret data, identify risks early, and implement effective process improvements that support consistent high-quality output.
Lead quality control activities with 5+ years of experience (including 15 years in a supervisory or leadership role).
Oversee and maintain the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
Conduct internal audits, quality inspections, and implement corrective and preventative action plans.
Analyse production data and utilize statistical techniques to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and operational procedures.
Collaborate closely with production teams to resolve issues quickly and maintain workflow efficiency.
Prepare and maintain reports, documentation, and quality records using Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure audit readiness at all times.
5 years of quality control experience, with 15 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Diploma in engineering, physical science, quality assurance, or a relevant field.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and hands‑on experience managing a QMS.
Skilled in data analysis, problem-solving, and statistical techniques.
Experience in a manufacturing or wood-working production environment.
Competent with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for reporting and data management.
Strong leadership capability with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
Excellent communication skills across all organisational levels.
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Strong interpersonal ability and collaborative working style.
