Key Responsibilities:
- To manage the fine jewellery product inspections for TFG Jewellery, in order to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction and reduced merchandise returns.
- To conduct metal/alloy identification testing and escalate failed results to management.
- To conduct diamond/stone identification testing and escalate failed results to management
- To focus on AQL final quality Inspections for TFG Jewellery suppliers by ensuring product specifications and aesthetics are acceptable
- To support the quality strategy and process for TFG Jewellery as per the brand requirements
- To supply the Lead Technologist and/or Quality Manager with input for the monthly Quality feedback reports, highlighting of risk and to support poor performing suppliers as required
- To regularly monitor the quality standards of delivered goods to stores, customer returns and the quality standards of product within the stores of our major competitors for benchmarking purposes
- To inspect jewellery Merchandise returns within an agreed timeframe and feedback to Lead Technologist on any style, supplier or store specific concerns
- To maintain the incorrect ticketing database for TFG Jewellery Management reference
- To drive and support the implementation of QC digitisation in the Jewellery space
- To feedback on Technical Standards not being adhered to by Suppliers on Bulk orders
- To manage the in-warranty store repair process for TFG Jewellery merchandise that is within warranty to a satisfactory conclusion
Qualification and Experience:
- Proven technical jewellery manufacturing and QC experience (3 - 5 years)
- Jewellery retail experience is advantageous
- Industry relevant diploma is advantageous
- Computer literacy in MS Office
