Job Description

Responsible for testing and inspecting manufactured products to meet the specified standards during various stages of manufacturing and before they are supplied to customers. Also responsible for ensuring that SHEQ programmes are adhered to.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting to the SHEQ Manager, the position will:
  • Implement and maintain Laboratory and Quality procedures and processes
  • Conduct inspections and testing
  • Support SHEQ programmes
  • Ensure adherence to daily Quality activities
  • Identify root causes and corrective actions
  • Conduct Quality projects
  • Compile reports and presentations
  • Conduct traceability exercises
  • Support the validation of Quality Processes
  • Train employees on Quality and Hygiene
  • Support internal and external audits
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • A minimum of national diploma / degree in Quality, Food Technology / Science, Packaging Technology, Plastic Technology or similar qualification
  • 1 to 3 years Quality, Production or R&D experience in an FMCG
  • Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • Computer skills
  • Disciplined and results oriented
  • Problem solving and logical thinker
  • Ability to work without Supervision
