This role requires 3–5 years of manufacturing experience, strong leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems. The Quality Control Supervisor will oversee all quality assurance and inspection activities within the manufacturing environment, ensuring that all products meet Deposita SA's internal standards, customer expectations, and relevant industry regulations.
This individual will play a critical role in maintaining product excellence, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and reinforcing Deposita SA's reputation for innovation, reliability, and superior quality.
Lead and manage the Quality Control (QC) team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Promote a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement across the department and facility.
Develop, implement, and maintain QC policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
Prepare and manage all quality control documentation and reports in line with ISO requirements.
Oversee and participate in the inspection and testing of components, devices, and finished products, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established protocols.
Identify and investigate product defects or quality issues, determine root causes, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to address and prevent recurrence.
Ensure strict adherence to all safety, quality, and company policies.
Oversee risk management and compliance processes within the region.
Ensure all containers are inspected prior to dispatch in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to prevent potential business losses.
NQF Level 4 qualification.
Technical diploma or associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (advantageous).
3–5 years of experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, including data analysis.
In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant industry regulations.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for team training and management reporting.
