Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Quality Control Department to ensure efficient and effective performance.
  • Oversee and report on all QC activities to the Operations Director.
  • Investigate and report on customer, supplier, and manufacturing complaints.
  • Manage reassessments and ensure all materials' shelf life is updated.
  • Ensure accurate physical and sensory analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
  • Verify allergens in finished goods and ensure all COA documentation is completed and stored.
  • Ensure all instruments and scales are calibrated.
  • Train staff on quality systems and standards (ISO, FSSC, SEDEX, etc.).
  • Ensure incoming packaging materials are tested and correctly labelled.
Requirements & Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering.
  • Qualification in Quality Management Systems, Food Safety, Management Systems, and Health & Safety Management.
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in Quality Control within the flavour and fragrance industry.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing a QC team.
  • Strong analytical and report‑writing skills.
  • Proficiency in ISO, FSSC, and SEDEX standards.
  • Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of industry regulations.
