Job summary

Agri Technovation (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead the day-to-day QC function in a manufacturing setting. You will oversee lab operations, implement QC procedures, and collaborate with Production and Procurement to ensure product quality from raw materials to finished goods.

The role requires a strong laboratory background, supervisory experience, and familiarity with ISO 9001/ISO/IEC 17025.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with a strong lab/analytical component.
At least three years in quality control/assurance in manufacturing or lab.
Supervisory or team‑lead experience is advantageous.
Formal training in quality management systems such as ISO 9001/ISO/IEC 17025 is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate routine and longer-term quality analyses for materials, in-process samples and finished products.
Oversee daily QC lab operations, priorities, testing activities and results review.
Develop and maintain QC procedures for sampling, testing, inspections and records.
Collaborate with Production to address quality concerns with independent perspective.
Coordinate with Procurement to monitor incoming material quality and consistency.
Investigate non-conforming results, perform root-cause analyses and track corrective actions.
Monitor quality trends and KPIs to improve reliability and efficiency.
Manage, train and mentor QC personnel and promote good lab practice.
Maintain clear QC documentation and support audits and compliance activities.
Perform other related duties as required.
