South African National Blood Service is seeking a Quality Systems professional to ensure the strategic alignment between quality and business objectives. You will partner with managers and staff to implement quality strategies and projects across the area of responsibility.

The role requires 3 years of blood banking experience, supervisory exposure to quality systems, and HPCSA registration. A valid driver’s license is required for site visits and audits.

Qualifikationen

• Medical Technician / Technologist in Blood Transfusion with HPCSA registration.
• 3 years' experience in general blood banking and supervisory experience implementing a quality system.
• Valid driver's license.

Aufgaben

• Monitor and align the Operational Environment with the Quality System to achieve SANBS quality goals.
• Achieve Operational Quality Management objectives through continuous improvement.
• Participate in business planning and budget preparation.
• Advise, coach and educate on quality matters.
• Act as Quality Business Partner to align business and quality strategies.
• Ensure implementation of quality improvement projects, new standards and change management.
• Oversee quality risk management.

Successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the strategic alignment between quality and the business objectives and plans, by building a partnership with managers and employees to support good quality practises. Implement the quality strategies and projects in area of responsibility.
