Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce credit risk policies and procedures.
• Assess and monitor customer creditworthiness, setting appropriate credit limits.
• Manage credit control processes, including credit vetting, account approvals, and risk assessment.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
• Monitor and report on age analysis, ensuring adherence to company credit policies.
• Prepare and present monthly performance reports for senior management.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and legal teams.
• Supervise and mentor a team of QA Agents, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Audit all documents provided by consumers that are linked to the credit or subscription applications.
• Meet SLA targets between departments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven track record of leadership skills

• Degree in finance or Credit Risk Management.
• 5-7 years' experience in corporate credit risk management.
• Min 5-8 years Credit vetting experience in the financial industry of which at least 3-5 years are within a managerial role
• Strong financial analysis and risk assessment skills regarding Vetting on Credit Applications.
• Strong Analytical Skills - Ability to assess financial risks, analyses credit data, and make sound decisions.
• Attention to Detail - Ensuring accuracy in credit assessments, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
