Job summary

SGS is seeking a Quality Coordinator to implement, maintain and continuously improve the ISO 17025 Quality Management System for Minerals Trade Energy. The role involves coordinating QA/QC activities, audits, corrective actions and training across the lab and field operations.

You will monitor QA/QC charts, support proficiency testing, and ensure timely closure of IR findings and complaints. A strong attention to detail and solid coordination skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Quality Management and/or Chemistry and/or proven years of laboratory, knowledge, skills and experience sufficient to be recognized as a qualification through - Recognition of Prior Learning.
• TQMS
• Working knowledge of ISO17025

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the ISO 17025 QMS.
• Assist with internal audits and external readiness.
• Register IRs and conduct root-cause analysis.
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed on time.
• Monitor QA/QC charts and explain trends.
• Prepare monthly Quality System reports.
